Role Overview:

Support in the administration of the Industrial Safety System, Property Safety, Occupational Health and Environment for the prevention of occupational risks, occupational diseases and environmental impacts complying with the applicable legal requirements and business objectives, as well as support in the generation of strategies to strengthen a culture of safety with the staff.

Critical Competencies for Success:

•    Coordinate and direct activities to review unsafe conditions, as well as internal audits and the development of procedures and formats under the ISO-14001 standards and the security system of our corporation. 
•    Management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste of the organization to maintain the best safety conditions of the personnel. 
•    Support in legal compliance with the requirements of rules and regulations that apply to the organization. 
•     Verify compliance with safety instructions, actions for zero accidents, handling of hazardous materials, follow-up to actions derived from inspections and audits, etc. on a daily basis.  
•    Manage and direct the analysis of hazard identification and risk assessment associated with the activities of the business, carry out actions to prevent and control them. 
•    Provide solutions to safety issues to operations and other processes in matters of safety conditions, environment, occupational health and property. 
•    Development of documents, procedures, formats and safety and environmental projects under the IS0-14001 standard, in accordance with the annual program. 
•    Administration of personal protective equipment, suppliers and HSE contractors, on a daily basis. 
•    Deliver Inductions and HSE trainings each week. 
•    Perform ISO-14001 internal audits and security walkthroughs. 
•    Monitoring of preventive indicators such as Safers in the Credit 360 system.
•    Contribute to the achievement of the organization's environmental objectives through proper compliance with internal environmental procedures and policy, as well as the legal and governmental requirements that apply in environmental matters.

Critical Competencies for Success:
•    Bachelor’s degree in environmental, Chemical or Industrial Engineering. 
•    Years of experience: 3 – 5 years. 
•    English: advance level, conversational

Software required
•    MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) at a Level: Advanced
•    Advanced Excel (is a Most)

Certifications (Preferred):
•    ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor.
•    Mexican Legislation.
•    Emergency brigades.
