Role Overview
The Planner- Buyer manages, executes and control the purchasing orders between Louisville USA and Querétaro, ensures the correct updating of the MRP, maintains key system parameters and ensures the correct flow of materials..

Key Responsibilities
· Identify and coordinate Manage purchase orders and keep the system aligned to actual demand.
· Run MRP messages in Louisville ensuring correct updates.
· Update and continuously follow up on purchase orders.
· Maintain up-to-date order multiples, lead time, and firm orders.
· Monitor the operation of EasyBoss. (internal system)
· Improve the intercompany OTD (~65% of lines shipped).
· Reduce and monitor intercompany backorders.
· Analyse forecasts and consumption patterns.
· Report risks and establish action plans.
· Create inventory strategies and analyse excesses and obsolescence.
· Manage engineering or supplier changes.
· Generate actions when the supplier cannot meet demand.
· Support Purchasing and coordinate inventories in transitions.
Critical Competencies for Success:
· Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Industrial Engineering or Administration.
· 2 years of experience in material planning, purchasing or similar positions.
· English: Advanced English (is a most)
· Six Sigma (Green Belt) training or certification
· Analytical thinking
· Troubleshooting
· Teamwork
· Active communication
· Adapting to change
Software required
· MS Office and JDE/SAP management
· Advanced Excel (is a Most)
