Main Responsibilities

Optimize Sourcing Processes
Adapt, standardize, and continuously enhance site-level sourcing policies and processes in alignment with headquarters’ guidelines to ensure effective and consistent implementation. -
Supplier Selection & Management
Lead the team in interpreting purchase requisitions, identifying suitable suppliers, and ensuring alignment with quality, cost, delivery, service, and working capital objectives. -
Contract Negotiation
Negotiate and finalize purchase contracts to secure competitive terms and conditions that best support company goals. -
Supplier Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure reliable supply sources and access to market intelligence. -
Issue Resolution
Address and resolve procurement-related disputes fairly while safeguarding the company’s interests. -
Drive Procurement Synergies
Leverage procurement synergies to achieve sustainable year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, supplier performance, and spend consolidation with preferred suppliers. -
Global Sourcing Strategy
Identify and execute global sourcing opportunities to improve spend effectiveness and drive productivity savings, with a focus on leveraging suppliers in China for LCM initiatives. -
Supplier Performance & Risk Evaluation
Conduct ongoing cost and risk assessments of key suppliers, including evaluating performance metrics, contract compliance, scorecards, quality certifications, and regulatory adherence. -
Localization & Continuous Improvement
Drive localization initiatives to improve supplier performance, mitigate supply risks, and support business continuity. -
Compliance & Governance
Ensure full compliance with company policies, codes of conduct, and core values across all sourcing activities. -
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain sourcing team members to build a high-performing and collaborative organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role and 3 years in a multinational environment.
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean principles.
- Proven process management skills; creative, adaptable, results-oriented, and self-driven.
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
- High degree of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant sourcing or ERP tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel frequently as required by business needs.
