Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets; provide weekly project status updates to senior management during project review meetings.

  • Establish and lead appropriate project teams for multiple projects; act as the primary liaison across all functions and implementation teams, including coordination with cross-continental sites and stakeholders.

  • Organize and facilitate project kick-off meetings and ongoing project reviews; monitor and control overall project progress to ensure timely delivery.

  • Create, manage, and track project budgets and material cost expenditures to ensure financial targets are met.

  • Ensure full compliance with the APQP process, maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead and coordinate formal project gate reviews, including project planning sign-off (Gate 1), design sign-off (Gate 2), process sign-off (Gate 3), and validation sign-off (Gate 4); present updates during monthly sign-off meetings.

  • Evaluate project outcomes to confirm successful delivery of project objectives and deliverables.

  • Engage closely with customers to understand evolving requirements, specifications, and relevant technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Formal project management training; PMI certification is preferred.

  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering project management, with at least 5 years of total professional experience.

  • Experience managing end-to-end product development projects, including cross-functional teams across multiple sites (preferred).

  • Hands-on experience with APQP or stage-gate development processes, including FMEA.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent time management and an understanding of business and financial implications.

  • Demonstrates innovation, initiative, professionalism, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, teamwork, integrity, accountability, and a strong sense of urgency.

  • Proficient in general office and PC applications, including Microsoft Office.
