We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead and enhance our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems. This role is responsible for promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining emergency preparedness, and driving continuous improvement across HSE performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Conduct HSE training and induction programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements, including Factory Act 1948, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
  • Maintain and monitor fire protection and firefighting systems to ensure operational readiness.
  • Lead HSE awareness initiatives, including celebrations for Safety Week and Environment Day, Rewards for Best Near Miss and any other employee engagement activities.
  • Implement and promote global HSE policies, including PPE, Jewellery, and Vest Policies.
  • Conduct safety risk assessments for new production lines and operations.
  • Drive timely closure of safety observations, audit findings, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen workplace health, safety, and environmental performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering, Fire & Industrial Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10–15 years of relevant HSE experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience implementing HSE management systems and driving statutory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of firefighting systems, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, and safety audits.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
  • Additional certifications such as ISO 14001 Internal/Lead Auditor, ISO 45001 Internal/Lead Auditor, or First Aid certification are advantageous.
