Role Overview

The Americas Transport Pricing Lead plays a critical role in shaping and executing pricing strategy across the transport business. This individual contributor role is responsible for guiding and supporting pricing operations—including list price adjustments and pricing communications—while maintaining data integrity within internal systems. A key focus of the role is working in close partnership with the Sales team to identify pricing alignment opportunities, evaluate customer proposals, and capitalize on margin improvement potential. The Pricing Lead will also interrogate product and margin data across families and segments to uncover strategic opportunities, develop actionable recommendations, and drive profitability wherever possible. This role blends tactical execution with strategic insight, serving as a trusted advisor to commercial teams and senior leadership.

Success in this role begins with discipline—establishing strong pricing structures, standardizing processes, and ensuring the fundamentals are in place. From tariff management to pricing approvals, the Pricing Lead will help build a foundation of consistency and clarity that enables smarter strategy, faster execution, and stronger commercial outcomes. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on both tactical precision and strategic impact.

Work Environment: Hybrid, (3 days in Queretaro office, 2 H.O.)

Key Responsibilities

·       Support the execution of pricing strategies across the Americas region by providing analytical insights and strategic recommendations.

·       Partner with Sales to evaluate pricing alignment opportunities, review customer proposals, and support margin improvement initiatives.

·       Analyze product, customer, and segment‑level pricing data to identify trends, profitability opportunities, and areas requiring pricing intervention.

·       Help maintain and enhance tariff structures, ensuring they are aligned with commercial objectives and competitive dynamics.

·       Strengthen pricing processes and collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Service to streamline decision‑making and improve price governance.

·       Review special pricing requests, assess financial impact, and advise on recommended actions following pricing policies.

·       Support business case development, “what‑if” scenario modeling, and data-driven evaluations that guide senior management.

·       Contribute to the design and enhancement of tools, dashboards, and mechanisms that monitor pricing effectiveness and financial impact.

·       Identify gaps or inconsistencies in pricing practices and propose improvements that support the overall pricing strategy.

·       Perform related pricing and analytical duties as needed.

Critical Competencies for Success

·       Bachelor’s degree required, with at least 4 years of experience in pricing, finance, commercial analysis, or a related business function.

·       Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

·       Solid business understanding and ability to work comfortably with margin, price, and product concepts.

·       Strong communication and collaboration skills to support cross‑functional engagement.

·       Detail-oriented with disciplined execution and accuracy.

·       Experience with JDE is an advantage.

·       Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

 

Experience in Automotive Industry is a must.
