Role Overview:
Provide leadership within the warehouse functions of Bimba, LLC. University Park by supervising and carrying out daily responsibilities for receiving, storing, and delivering/shipping inventoried items to internal/external customers. Facilitates continuous improvement, and champions company goals. Responsible for maintenance of inventory and its accuracy for all raw material and finished goods. Supervise all aspects of the warehouse’s operations, people, process, and service-related objectives that drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost-to-serve.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise day-to-day operations and drive accountability of warehouse personnel, including receipt and issuance of material and material handling and storage.
- Handles daily tactical issues related to shipping and warehouse functions.
- Safety awareness and responsibility for all warehouse activities in accordance with Bimba and IMI Way policies and procedures.
- Prepares and submits daily accountability forms and weekly reports
- Assure quality throughout the operation, using problem solving techniques, inventory management practices and other statistical methods to control and improve processes and services.
- Maximizes quality and productivity by understanding and mastering all job standards for each function and evaluating performance variances in order to identify root cause, corrective action and training needs.
- Meets warehouse and material handling operational goals by improving quality, productivity and service standards: resolving problems and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Develop work plans ensuring appropriate staffing levels, managing labor costs, overtime and retention.
- Manage daily plan to exceed expectations for productivity and accuracy.
- Inspire trust and respect by delivering on promises and modeling integrity.
- Champion Company goals and effectively communicate these to area employees and all constituents.
- Study and standardize procedures to minimize errors and improve productivity
- Training and maintenance of all warehouse staff on applicable Bimba, IMI, and customer specific processes and requirements.
- Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Defines problem, gathers data, prepares data for presentation and provides detailed and thorough review of report data to management.
- Uses analytical and quantitative methods to conduct various analyses as assigned.
- Coordinate inventory transfers with related departments. Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse.
- Maintain and improve inventory accuracy.
- Assure continuous improvement of material management processes to reduce scrap, rework, labor costs, service effectiveness and profitability.
- Promotes and participates Continuous Improvement projects as a team member or leader.
- Deliver a consistent, high performance experience to our associates and customers.
- Foster an environment where people are valued, treated with dignity and where cultural and stylistic differences are accepted.
- Mentor and develop subordinates and create a culture that attracts and rewards high quality professionals.
- Make full use of ERP (Oracle EBS) system for planning and information sharing.

Critical Competencies for Success:
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of successful experience as a supervisor or shift lead across multiple shifts, including effective employee development of both permanent and contract labor, participation in staffing decisions and performance assessments.
- Proven hands-on warehouse/inventory operations experience
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Oracle (EBS), MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have experience communicating and coordinating work successfully across multiple functions, such as manufacturing, purchasing, customer service.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of manufacturing Lean concepts, including continuous improvement, workflow improvements, and general problem solving.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Pay range: $63k-$75k
Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
